Hole in the Wall's 25th Anniversary Hole in the Wall, Thursday 17-Saturday 19

For over 25 years now, the Hole in the Wall has offered the best of all worlds -- neighborhood pub, pool hall, rock club, greasy spoon. It's all things to everybody, and easily one of the best all-purpose hangouts in Austin. This weekend, get up-close and sweaty with some of the Hole's most infamous regulars. Thursday night, there's a Nortons extravaganza as Speedy Sparks runs the evening's festivities with many special guests. Friday, the Ex-Husbands bring their ill-tempered country in from Nashville for their growing legion of local fans, joined by Texacala Jones and Amberjack Rice. Saturday night, San Antonio's finest rock band, Sons of Hercules, headline, with Billy Joe Winghead (from Oklahoma City, fast becoming Hole favorites), and Double-O-Go-Go. Jason Blum starts it off at 9pm.
